The beginning of the 2021-2022 school year is inching closer. Gifting your teacher(s) is of course not mandatory or required, but I often get asked, "what would teachers like?" and I ran with that question to create the graphic below.
A lot of great gifts are functional gifts. Weather gifts may seem bonkers, but here's a situational example:
Picture a frigid Oklahoma morning, a winter advisory on the horizon. Teachers arrive to school, a few short hours later, power is flickering, eventually going out. Parents are sent messages to come pick up their students, teachers then go into action to load students into vehicles. Once this process is done, it's time for teachers and staff to leave. Windshields are iced over. Parking lots are ice rinks. Precipitation is still falling. Think...will a mug help teachers quickly, efficiently, and safely get home? Likely not. De-icer, ice scrapers, and other weather items would be more appropriate and beneficial.

Happy gifting!
